Any attempt to rig Builsa South election will be met with the most robust resistance – Dr. Apaak

The Member of Parliament for Builsa South, Dr. Clement Apaak, has warned against any attempts to rig the upcoming 2024 elections in his constituency.
In a statement, Dr. Apaak claimed that there have been efforts to steal the people’s votes through the use of local thugs, imported mercenaries, or even fake security personnel.
“Any attempt to steal the will of the people using local ragamuffins or imported thugs or fake security personnel or a combination, therefore, will be met with the most robust resistance. Based on our intelligence and surveillance over the past 6 months, we are adequately prepared”, he added.
Below is the full statement
Builsa South – Let those who have planned to circumvent the will of the people of Builsa South know that we know their plots. We know and have the details of the meetings held in Navrongo, Sandema, amongst others.
Any attempt to steal the will of the people using local ragamuffins or imported thugs or fake security personnel or a combination, therefore, will be met with the most robust resistance. Based on our intelligence and surveillance over the past 6 months, we are adequately prepared.
We expect the security personnel mandated to ensure that the people of Builsa South exercise their right to vote freely, to act professionally and in neutrality. Any unprofessional and biased conduct by security personnel will not go unchallenged.
We urge the EC officials to conduct themselves professionally. The true will of the people of Builsa South must prevail, and we will ensure that.
We are for peace. However, we will not be victims of peace.
Notice is hereby served!
