Mahama to resource creatives to participate in international fairs

Attending international fairs can offer a multitude of benefits including:
Networking and Relationship Building: These provide a platform for professionals to meet and interact within their industry, fostering valuable partnerships and friendships.
Market Research and Industry Insights: Fairs offer firsthand exposure to market trends, emerging technologies, and consumer preferences, which is crucial for strategic planning.
Brand Visibility and Marketing: Exhibitors can showcase their brands to a targeted audience, launch new products, and receive immediate feedback.
Sales and Lead Generation: With many prospective customers present, fairs are ideal for generating leads and making direct sales.
Educational Opportunities: Attendees can benefit from seminars, workshops, and panel discussions that cover various industry-related topics.
These benefits can significantly enhance an individual or a company’s visibility and impact in the global market.
Former President John Mahama who is also the 2024 presidential candidate for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has pledged his support for creatives in Ghana to attend international trade fairs to exhibit Ghanaian culture and arts.
He believes that showcasing the rich cultural heritage of Ghana at these events will help promote the country’s arts and crafts on the global stage.
Mahama emphasised the importance of supporting and promoting Ghanaian creatives, as they play a crucial role in preserving and promoting the country’s cultural identity. He also highlighted the economic benefits that can be derived from the promotion of Ghanaian arts and crafts internationally.
The NDC flag-bearer urged players of the creative industry to take advantage of these opportunities to showcase their talents and attract potential buyers and investors.
In all, Mahama’s call and support for Ghanaian creatives to attend international trade fairs is a positive step towards promoting the country’s cultural heritage and boosting the creative economy.
By showcasing Ghanaian arts and crafts on the global stage, creatives can attract international attention and support, ultimately contributing to the growth and development of the creative industry in Ghana.
