Nitiwul lied about my Airport Hills residence – Ablakwa

The Member of Parliament for North Tongu, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, has strongly denied claims made by former Minister for Defense, Dominic Nitiwul, regarding his residence at Airport Hills in Accra.
According to Ablakwa, Nitiwul falsely alleged that he resides in a two-plot apartment at Airport Hills.
In a sharp rebuttal, Ablakwa clarified that he is actually renting a single plot in the area. He emphasized that he has nothing to hide and voluntarily disclosed his tenancy details to maintain transparency.
“I have absolutely nothing to hide,” Ablakwa stated. “I challenge them to put out that evidence that shows that the East Legon Hills residence belongs to me and that I’ve put it in my sister’s name. That’s absolutely untrue”.
Ablakwa also presented a copy of his tenancy agreement from the estate managers of Airport Hills, which confirms that he is indeed a tenant and not the owner of the property.
The controversy surrounding Ablakwa’s residence at Airport Hills emerged during his vetting by the Appointments Committee of Parliament on January 31, 2025.
