THE NPP CANNOT BE A FRIEND TO ZONGOS AND MUSLIMS; DON’T BE DECEIVED BY THE HEWER, DR. BAWUMIA.

How is NPP a friend to Muslims and Zongos?
Have we forgotten of our history so soon? Let us not be oblivious of the bitter past to create a bitter future for our generations.

In 1969, the NPP then the UP promulgated the Alien Compliance Order to get rid of Muslims and Zongos dwellers from the South.

In 1997, the NPP walked out of Parliament when Rawlings, through cabinet sent a bill to Parliament to grant Muslims a holiday on Eid-l Fitr day.

Again, have you noticed a correlation between NPP government and Violence in Muslim communities? Have you realised that, anytime the NPP is in power, Zongo and Muslim communities tend to have internal conflicts?

If you have forgotten all that, let’s go through our most recent history to see how hostile the NPP is to Zongos and Muslims.

Empirical:
When President Kuffour assumed office in 2001, he first deployed soldiers in Muslim and Zongo Comminities to terrorize our Imams and Chiefs under the pretext of searching for arms. Granted that was the mission, are they suggesting that, we Muslims are the miscreants and thieves in Ghana?

Are you aware that, Yaa Naa Yakubu Andani was murdered in cold blood under the NPP regime in 2001?

Do you know that, anytime the NPP is in power, Muslims become the target of atrocities, hence the murder of Seven able bodied Muslim young men in Kumasi;
The murder of Abdalla Ayaric and Tajudeen Alhassan in Techiman South;
The murder of a 12yr old Samira Zakaria in Savelugu;
The murder of Abass Mohammed in Ablekuma Central, Accra;
The murder of Kaaka and two others in Ejura;

Remember anytime NPP is in power, Bawku conflict is resurrected. Remember anytime the NPP is in power, Muslim and Zongo businesses are ruined deliberately, like the Onion Market in Accra.

Recently, a Muslim community in Accra Nima was engulfed in an unrest. Why so?

How is NPP a friend to Muslims and Zongos? Don’t be deceived by the shenanigans! Don’t be deceived by the chicanery and sophistry of Bawumia. He is only being used as a stop gap element to consolidate the hold on the NPP by the Akyem Clique, who see political power as an entitlement and a bonafide property.
