NPP will suffer if the ‘demons’ are not removed – Frimpong-Boateng

Professor Kwabena Frimpong-Boateng, former Minister for Environment, Science, Technology and Innovation, has warned that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) “must clean house or keep losing”.
Speaking in an interview on Nhyira FM in Kumasi, Frimpong-Boateng called for reforms within the party.
“All the executives must resign for leading the party to an unprecedented defeat; if the demons in the NPP are not removed from their leadership positions, the party will continue to suffer,” Frimpong-Boateng declared. He pointed to internal mismanagement and poor decision-making as the root causes of the NPP’s electoral struggles.
The former minister also expressed disappointment in President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, stating, “Akufo-Addo turned deaf ears to the many pieces of advice I gave him, which could have turned the fortunes. His governance was so disappointing. There are so many people behind the scenes in the NPP who love this country and could perform better, but were sidelined by President Akufo-Addo.”
Frimpong-Boateng emphasized the importance of good governance, stating, “Good governance is common sense minus corruption; you don’t sit down and accumulate money as a country, you need exports which can be achieved by building a formidable human resource.”
