Prof. Opoku-Agyemang arrives in Tamale for Haruna Iddrisu’s campaign launch

The running mate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Prof. Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, on Sunday, arrived in Tamale for the Tamale South Constituency’s parliamentary campaign launch of Hon. Haruna Iddrisu.
Tamale South Constituency is the largest constituency in the Northern Region and has the highest number of votes in the region. Hon. Iddrisu, who is the incumbent Member of Parliament for Tamale South Constituency, also garners the highest number of votes in the Northern Region.
He is considered by political watchers as one of the brightest Members of Parliament and is held in high esteem by Members on both sides of the political divide in the legislature.
At Sunday’s campaign launch, Prof. Opoku-Agyemang will thank the people for their support, and abiding faith in the NDC, and for rallying behind Hon. Iddrisu and the other NDC Members of Parliament in the Tamale metropolis.
She will also renew the NDC’s commitment to keep developing the Northern Region as well as highlight policies in the 2024 NDC manifesto aimed at creating jobs, empowering women financially, providing opportunities for the youth, and supporting Zongos.
