Barcelona clinches back-to-back La Liga titles after dominant win over Madrid

FC Barcelona secured their 29th La Liga crown after beating fierce rivals Real Madrid 2-0 at the Nou Camp with three matches left this season.
England forward Marcus Rashford opened the scoring with a sensational free-kick before Ferran Torres doubled the advantage with a composed finish in an entertaining El Clasico encounter.
Both scorers celebrated by running towards manager Hansi Flick following the death of his father over the weekend.
The victory confirmed Barcelona’s second consecutive league triumph and moved them closer to the record tally held by Real Madrid, who remain seven titles ahead in Spain’s top division.
Barcelona’s remarkable league form has powered them to the championship, with the Catalan side extending their winning streak to 11 matches and opening an unreachable 14-point gap over Madrid.
Their dominance at home has also been decisive. The win marked an 18th victory from 18 league games at the revamped Nou Camp this season.
Rashford handed Barcelona the perfect start after curling a superb free-kick beyond goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois, whose slight touch was not enough to prevent the ball from flying into the top corner.
Barcelona continued to control the game and struck again in the 18th minute through Torres after a clever assist from Dani Olmo.
Madrid struggled to respond despite midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni returning to the side days after an incident involving team-mate Federico Valverde, who missed the match because of concussion.
Coach Alvaro Arbeloa was unable to inspire a comeback as Barcelona dictated possession and created the better opportunities throughout the contest.
Rashford nearly grabbed his second goal of the evening but was denied by another strong save from Courtois, while Vinicius Junior failed to beat goalkeeper Joan Garcia at the other end.
The home supporters celebrated loudly as chants of “Championes, Championes” echoed around the stadium before Robert Lewandowski almost added a late third.
Questions remain over Rashford’s future in Spain, with Barcelona yet to decide whether to activate the £28 million option to make his loan move from Manchester United permanent.
Speaking after the title-clinching victory, Rashford admitted he would love to remain in Barcelona but said a final decision will come after the season.
