Coderina – Coder in Africa visits Ministry of Education
CODERINA – CODER IN AFRICA has visited the Ministry of Education and donated some equipment to the Ghana Education Service (GES).
The Minister of Education, Haruna Iddrisu, and his Deputy Minister of Education, Dr. Clement Apaak, witnessed the donation.
In a brief remark by the Sector Minister, he indicated the government will support robotics development in the country but will guide against any negative effects on Ghana’s educational system.

According to the Minister, the government also has plans to revolutionize STEAM Education in the country.
Hon. Haruna Iddrisu also reiterated that institutions must produce students with employable skills.
CODERINA – CODER IN AFRICA is an independent non-profit organization that works to promote IT development, innovation, and entrepreneurship in Africa.
The leader of the CODERINA – CODER IN AFRICA, Ben Amoako, disclosed that so far, 5000 students have been impacted with problem solving, creative and strategic thinking, teamwork, communication, and self-management
He also stated that 120 teachers have been trained to enhance current teaching methods and curriculum, emphasizing the use of science and technology in real-world problem-solving.
Mr. Amoako also stated that 26 projects were incubated for youth innovation, entrepreneurship, and empowerment, among other achievements.
