Dr. Apaak calls for stronger alumni partnerships to advance Wesley Grammar

Deputy Minister for Education, Dr. Clement Abas Apaak, has called for stronger alumni partnerships to support the growth and development of Wesley Grammar School as it marks 70 years.
Dr. Apaak made the appeal during the school’s 70th anniversary celebration held in Accra on Saturday.
He stressed that partnerships with former students and other stakeholders would help the school maintain its legacy while preparing for new challenges.
“The future of Wesley Grammar School must be one of continued transformation where strong partnerships with alumni, communities, and development partners continue to support the growth of the school,” he stated.
He said collaboration between alumni, communities and development partners would be essential to sustaining the institution’s progress and expanding opportunities for students.
“The future of Wesley Grammar School must be one of continued transformation where digital learning is strengthened, where science and technology flourish, where creativity and innovation are encouraged,” he said.
According to him, unity among stakeholders would allow the school to build on its heritage and achieve greater success in the years ahead.
“If we remain united in this shared vision, Wesley Grammar School will not only preserve its proud heritage, but it will also rise to even greater heights in the decades ahead,” he said.
Dr. Apaak also acknowledged the contributions of the Methodist missionaries, early administrators and teachers whose efforts laid the foundation for the institution.
“We remember with gratitude the Methodist missionaries, the founding administrators, the early teachers, and the generations of leadership whose dedication built Wesley Grammar School into this respected institution today,” he said.
He congratulated the school community on the milestone and encouraged continued collaboration among alumni, staff and development partners to sustain the institution’s growth.
