PSG Power Bayern 5–4 in Confusion-Filled Champions League Semifinal First Leg

Paris perceived one of the most dramatic nights in recent Champions League history as Paris Saint-Germain narrowly defeated Bayern Munich 5–4 in an incredible semifinal first leg filled with goals, momentum swings, and late tension.
PSG struck early and often, with Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Ousmane Dembélé leading the game in a fast-paced attacking display. João Neves also got on the scoresheet as the French champions surged into a commanding position in visible of their home fans.
Bayern Munich, however, refused to halt quietly. Harry Kane converted from the penalty spot to open the scoring, while Michael Olise added another first-half goal to keep the German giants within touching distance.
At one stage, PSG beheld firmly in control after building a three-goal cushion. But Bayern reignited the contest in the second half through Dayot Upamecano and Luis Díaz, turning the tie into a frantic end-to-end battle.
Despite Bayern’s late pressure, PSG held on to secure a narrow 5–4 advantage header into the second leg.
The result keeps both teams firmly in disputation for a place in the final, with PSG chasing back-to-back Champions League glory in the modern era, while Bayern Munich remain in pursuit of a treble after already sealing the Bundesliga title and reaching the German Cup final.
With nine goals, multiple lead changes, and relentless attacking football, the match has already been labeled one of the standout European nights of the season.
