I’ll expose ‘antichrist actions, inactions of Kennedy Agyapong’ – Abronye

Bono Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kwame Baffoe, popularly known as Abronye DC, has hit back at a petition filed against him by the party’s General Secretary, Justin Kodua Frimpong.
He stated that he is ready to face the NPP’s National Disciplinary Committee.
In a statement dated September 30, 2025, Abronye declared his “full preparedness and willingness” to appear before the committee and use the platform to expose what he described as the “antichrist actions and inactions” of Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, a senior member of the party.
“I hereby write to indicate my full preparedness and willingness to appear before the Committee to comprehensively lay bare and substantiate the antichrist actions and inactions of Hon. Kennedy Agyapong, which has undermined the cohesion and integrity of our Party,” his statement read.
Abronye also challenged the party to make the disciplinary hearings public and live on air, arguing that transparency would allow grassroots members to assess the truth for themselves.
“Since the referral was made public, I therefore propose that the sittings of the Committee be conducted openly and broadcast live, so that the rank and file of our noble Party may have the opportunity to witness, at first hand, the manifest antichrist posture and conduct of Hon. Kennedy Agyapong,” he added.
His response follows a petition submitted by the NPP General Secretary, accusing him of defamation, misconduct, and gross indiscipline. The petition cited derogatory remarks directed at Kennedy Agyapong and alleged misrepresentation of party committee findings.
The escalating tension highlights deepening cracks within the NPP, as party heavyweights trade accusations ahead of crucial internal decisions.
